Little update
Have spoken to both set of developers, looks like I will be going ahead with both projects at this stage, I am not 100% certain how I will fund both, but I think can just about manage it…
Looking at about 8 weeks/end of Novemeber-ish for me to have as a target date to have some sort of front end sites to show. Will be working to that date, if need be rather than delay will trim down sites in order to meet it.
Shares seems to have remained quite flat last week or so - this is fine for the time being!
Time for a night cap? nah, time to work.
For anyone in their mid 20’s who is about to begin a family, or who wishes to work for themselves then you must be prepared to kiss the social life good bye!
Anyone wishing to begin a family AND work for themselves then I strongly urge you to reconsider. If you value sleep and your sanity then I recommend you forget it! It is a near impossible juggling act. If you were a natural entreprenuer you might be okay. However if you were then you wouldn’t be thinking about doing it, you’d have already done it. You certainly wouldn’t be reading the mindless ramblings of this idiot!
It is 11:45pm on a Friday night, I have not just come in from the pub, and I am not about to rush out to the nearest night club, I am in fact getting comfortable for a few hours intensive work. Not having a social life has long been forgotten about. Getting used to rarely having the minimum sleep is proving a little harder to get used to.
If sleep deprivation is such an issue then why am I wasting my valuable time writing this and not doing proper work so I can go to bed earlier? Good point, and well made too! I shall keep it short.
It is the end of another week, very little has happened. I am still waiting to get figures and timescales on:
1) The complete redevelopment of a site which has been in progress for over 20 months - money and time now wasted.
2) A new project which should only take 4 weeks or so to develop.
I hope to have news on both early next week. Unless the bank are prepared to fund the first project it may be time to kiss it goodbye. The bank have told me where to go in the past, and I doubt the bank manager will act any different a second time round.
Site Changes
As you might well be able to tell, I got bored with the previous design and have completely revamped the site.
I hope you all like the new cleaner design, if not then tough, because I do.
I have added a 50 day chart to the graphs page so you can see how my trades have been doing over last 50 days.
I have also added a shares page, at the moment this holds details about my current postions, but it will also hold a little more details about last trades etc.There will be some other additions soon:
Somewhere for me to showcase websites when they are ready
and graph plotting my progress to £1M - the delay with making this at the moment is I wish to use a logarithmic scale, but have negative values which makes it rather impossibe!

Its Friday
Its friday afternoon, and for a change I am finishing here early.
Need to drop my better half off for a weekend of outragous hen activities. I offered my services as a cheap strip-o-gram. I would say the offer was kindly declined but she was a little too blunt about it.
Shares
Have purchased a few more shares today, will update the share details once today trading is done.
Websites
Have had continued set backs with one development. Basically I will be scrapping a lot of work done. The move to a new server caused big problems, as did the take over of development by new programmers. The platform built was not as intuitive as it should been nor was there sufficient documentation. The long and short of it is this; it is now more efficient to code new from my spec than to try and repair what is currently there. . Frustrating as this is, it atleast allows me to approach it as a fresh project, set clear goals and milestones. Clearly this will hit my wallet hard, and I do not yet know the costs.
Why did this happen in the first place? I think because I was trying to do it on too much of a shoestring. Lessons have been learnt, providing the work is affordable it will be done under far more professional circumstances. It is unlikely that this site will now be ready before the year is out.
Other projects on the go: onesiteinamillion.com is now one of my priorities, I want to drive traffic to this site and get the ball rolling. Have several ideas for promoting it, and at the moment we are moving forward nicely.
Ideas
I have a very exciting new site which will be launched soon. After a brainstorming session a few days ago, and a moment of pure genius I have come up with the concept for a great site. I already have the site mapped out, and am just awaiting news on when the development can begin. Watch this space, something exciting coming this way soon!!

After interest in the shares I am trading I have decided to post a little more info on the shares I currently hold. I need to make it very clear that this is somethign I do part time, and in no way do I recommend you invest in the same shares as I. Obviously its your money so do with it what you want!!
